Description
Generator Inspections Statement of Work The U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS), The National Plant Germplasm Quarantine Center (NPGQC) in Beltsville, Maryland intends to award a New 5 year commercial service contract for four (4) generator inspections a year. This will be a firm fixed-priced commercial service contract for four (4) inspections a year, one of which will be a Full Service Visit. The inspections will include both generators, switchgear and transfer switches. Contractor shall provide all parts, materials, and labor to perform one Full service and three Maintenance Inspections and emergency repairs on emergency generators per SOW. The period of performance needed will be for a base period of 12 months and 4 possible 12 month option periods Pricing shall include all costs necessary to accomplish the services in the statement of work (including but not limited to: overhead, general and administrative, profit, insurance, transportation, labor hours, equipment and supplies) The US Department of Labor Wage Determination WD-2005-2103, Revision 15, Dated 12/22/2014, for Prince George's County, where the work will be performed Apply to this Service and can be found at: http://www.wdol.gov/wdol/scafiles/std/05-2103.txt?v=15 In accordance with Agricultural Acquisition Regulation 452.237-73 Equipment Inspection Visit; Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the equipment on which maintenance or repairs are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the equipment constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
