- Description
- Colville National Forest, Ninemile Pit Development and Crushing, Republic Ranger District in the Ferry County, Washington State. The Republic Ranger District on the Colville National Forest located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for pit and quarry development and rock crushing. The Government is currently estimating the delivery of approximately 8,800 tons of aggregate in accordance with Section 703.05(a) Grading C (Base). Work also includes but not limited to: grading, blasting, rock crushing, testing and stockpiling aggregate. The Contractors shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the drawings and specification of the contract. From Colville, WA: Travel on US-395 North for +/- 12 miles to intersection with WA-20; turn left on WA-20 and travel west for +/- 32 miles to County Road 99 (Hall Creek Rd.); turn right on County Road 99 and travel 0.3 miles to Forest Service road 2053000; turn right on Forest Service road 2053000 and travel +/- 5 miles to Forest Service road 2053250; turn right on Forest Service road 2053250 and travel 0.6 miles to the Ninemile Pit location. The Contractor shall utilize products and materials that promote energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, use of recovered materials, that are environmentally preferable, and made from bio- based materials including but not limited to: 2-Cycle Engine Oils; Chain and Cable Lubricants; Diesel Fuel Additives; Engine Crankcase Oil; Fuel Conditioners; Gasoline Fuel Additives; Gear Lubricants; Greases; Hydraulic Fluids; etc.) to the maximum extent possible without jeopardizing the intended end use of detracting from the overall quality delivered. The project (including the base and option item) is estimated between $100,000 to $250,000. The awarded Contractor will have to provide both a payment and performance bond. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about July 26, 2015. Proposals are estimated to be due August 24, 2015. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 237990 size standard is $33.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
