Description

**This is not a Solicitation** The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, is conducting market research to identify existing commercial availability for retal/leasing of Rough Terrain Container Handlers(RTCH)to be used at March Air Reserve Base, CA. The Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH) should be capable of lifting 53,000 lbs (24,040 kg) capacity with the ability to stack 20 and 40 foot containers three high and two rows deep. The RTCH should be able to side shift, rotate, and tilt in all directions (any combination of forward, rear, left and right). The RTCH must be able to lift, move, stack and unstack 20 and 40 foot ISO containers. The contractor shall provide a block of training to instruct Soldiers on operation of the equipment. A commercial version RTCH is authorized. The RTCH will be needed from 27 July 15 - 28 July 15 & 7 Aug 15 - 8 Aug 15. The Government is seeking information on availabiltiy for the dates previously noted, and if needed, an operator to drive the RTCH is available for those dates. The Government is looking for an itemized list breakdown of what the lease/retal would look like.
