- This is a sources-sought announcement only for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to accomplish market research and support planning for the below listed requirement. The Government will not pay for any information or reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this RFI. No solicitation is being issued at this time. The Government is seeking interested contractors for a contract to provide depot level repair of PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment (GSE) secondary items. The Government does not have the complete Technical Data Package to provide for this repair effort. The Government requirement is for the repair of GSE secondary items (NSNs 1430-01-089-4095, 5990-01-110-4841, 5998-01-411-3054, 5998-01-411-5080, 5998-01-421-5936, and 5999-01-452-9629). Inductions will begin in October 2015 with the requirement of deliveries being 180 days after the receipt of the item at the repair facility. Request that interested contractors provide the following: 1) Provide a description of your company’s expertise and experience in providing repair of GSE secondary items for air and missile defense weapon systems. 2) Provide a description of your company’s experience in producing and delivering GSE secondary items for missile weapon systems in 6 months or less. 3) Describe, in general, your company’s approach to meeting the required delivery date for the GSE secondary items.
