- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. The solicitation number is P15PS01895, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The NAICS code is 115310 with an associated small business size standard of $7.5 million. This solicitation is a 100% total small business set-aside, and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service, Olympic National Park (OLYM) has a requirement for the cleaning and shaping of roadside drainage ditches on three paved roads in Olympic National Park, Clallam County, Washington. Once at the FedConnect home page, click "Search Public Opportunities Only." Next screen, under Search Criteria, change the drop-down menu selection to read "Reference Number," then type in solicitation number P15PS01895 and click "search." Next screen, click the underlined text that is the title of the solicitation, shown as "(OLYM) Ditching Services ¿ Clean and Shape." Next screen is the overview screen. On the right-hand side, is the list of documents posted, showing the SF-1449 solicitation form and all attachments. The attachments must be opened individually, and can be downloaded and saved or printed. Besides the SF-1449 solicitation form, there are three total attachments: Attachment no. 1, this combined synopsis/solicitation, Attachment no. 2 is Ditching Mileages and Turn-Outs (an Excell spreadsheet containing three worksheet tabs, one worksheet tab for each of the three park roads), and Attachment no. 3 is the Dept. of Labor (DOL) wage decision (wage rates). PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Government anticipates making an award within 3 to 5 business days from the closing date of this solicitation (awarding approximately the week of August 3rd). The period of performance is mandatory, from September 1, 2015 to September 30, 2015. QUOTES ARE DUE BY 4:30PM PACIFIC TIME (PT) ON TUESDAY, JULY 28, 2015.
