- SOLICITATION NOW AVAILABLE AT FEDCONNECT. DESCRIPTION (as previously posted): The work of this contract consists of general construction to install concrete footings for a well drilling construction project consisting of testing and drilling a potable water well as an exploratory well (for the purpose of providing potable water to the Bemis House) with the option for abandonment, and options to decommission two separate existing/abandoned water wells located nearby. There are three project sites total, and all three are located in the Lake Quinault area in Grays Harbor County, WA, within the boundary of Olympic National Park. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED and telephone requests, email requests, or fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. To receive the solicitation package (standard form and all associated attachments), click the link below for the solicitation and any amendment(s) where you'll be redirected to FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net. Accessing the solicitation form and attachments does not require registration in FedConnect. Once at the FedConnect home page, click on "Search Public Opportunities Only." Next screen, select "Reference Number" from drop-down menu and type in solicitation number as P15PS01697, and click "search." Next screen will show the solicitation title as "Drill Well Bemis House Olympic NP-Quinault." Click the title to open the overview page, where on the right-hand side will be the Standard Form 1442 and all attachments. An organized SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED for 11am (pt) on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Bemis House in the quinault district in Olympic National Park, Grays Harbor County, WA. Contractors shall meet at the Bemis House at 11am, located at 658 North Shore Road, Amanda Park, WA. The site visit will be comprised of an on-site walk-thru with the Contracing Officer and COR at all three project sites, lasting one to two hours. Please see full details of the site visit as there is more information for contractors than what-s included in this synopsis page - - refer to Section L.4 of Solicitation Attachment no. 2, Terms and Conditions, as posted in FedConnect. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the FBO and FedConnect websites to download all amendments and attachments which may also be issued against the solicitation prior to the solicitation's closing date.
