Audio/Visual Equipment and Furniture for Yokota AB Joint Operations Centers (JOC) SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Synopsis Number: FA5209-15-T-YJOC Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation, but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist. This will assist the Government in determining if this can be a competitive effort. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Codes are 238390 and 532490, as this requirement involves both office furniture and audio visual equipment. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if capable, any similar Government contracts held in the past. Capability statements are welcome and encouraged. 2. Requirement Details: This requirement is a design build-style commodity purchase for auditorium-style flooring, matching computer workstations, and substantial amount of audio visual equipment. This will require prospective vendors to submit their own design as well as provide, install, and test functionality of all required furniture and electronic components. In addition, the work will be completed in a National Security Agency (NSA) certified facility, and contractors must be U.S. citizens, and possess a SECRET security clearance or higher in order to be considered for award. This requirement is being driven by Government policy and NSA regulations, which can be provided upon request. A five (5) day window from 3-7 August 2015 is being provided for vendors to arrive and complete a site visit. The purpose of the site visit is to provide a better understand the requirement. Vendors MUST indicate in their response to this synopsis which date they would like to arrive, so proper coordination can be made. Site visits will begin at the contracting squadron at 0900, and end at the work site. All vendors shall report to the following location no later than 0900: 374th Contracting Squadron Building 620, Room 109 Yokota AB, Fussa-shi, Japan NOTE: All vendors must present a valid U.S. Passport with Japanese Visa to be allowed entry to Yokota AB. If not followed, access to Yokota AB will be denied. Responses to this synopsis must be submitted by 1200 AM Eastern Standard Time, July 27, 2015, to the following individuals: TSgt John Freeling (john.freeling@us.af.mil), MSgt Jerry Meeks (jerry.meeks.1@us.af.mil), and Mr. Steven Thomas (steven.thomas.51@us.af.mil). TSgt John Freeling is the primary point of contact for this sources sought synopsis. Responses may be submitted via email (preferred) or by fax to 042-551-0973. Email responses may be submitted in PDF or Microsoft Word Format. Questions will be answered electronically via attachment to this sources sought synopsis. When responding, please include: 1.
