- PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT REDWOOD NATIONAL AND STATE PARKS RE-ROOF RESTROOM AT WOLF CREEK EDUCATION CENTER RFQ No. P15PS01815 The National Park Service, Redwood National and State Parks, located in Humboldt and Del Norte County, California has a requirement for the removal and replacement of an existing asphalt shingle roof, skylights, and drywall ceiling of the restroom/shower house building at the Wolf Creek Education Center. The work includes providing and installing roofing, tube style skylights, and ceiling drywall on one building. The restroom building will require the old asphalt shingle roofing (approximately 1,082 square feet), four skylights, and ceiling drywall (approximately 800 square feet) to be removed and recycled. Roof sheeting will need to be installed to cover existing skylight openings, sheeting will also need to be replaced in any damaged or rotten areas affected by water intrusion. Upon installation of new standing seam metal roof and eight 22 ¿ tube style skylights, according to manufacturer ¿s guidelines, drywall ceiling will be installed and finished in-kind. All work shall be performed under a single, fixed price contract. The anticipated period of performance is November 1, 2015 to February 1, 2016. Period of performance is approximate; actual dates will be established at the time of award. This acquisition is set-aside exclusively for Women-Owned Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160; the small business size standard is $15.0 million. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from the Request for Quotations (RFQ) to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about July 30, 2015 at either FBO: http://www.fbo.gov or FedConnect: https://www.fedconnect.net. The prospective Offeror is responsible for periodically checking these websites for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. A Site Visit will be scheduled for approximately Monday, August 10, 2015 beginning at 9 a.m. PT. See Section L of the RFQ (when issued) for more information.
