- This notice provides details of an upcoming project prior to advertisement of the solicitation package. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) intends to solicit for award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract to enhance wetland functions and restore wetland hydrology on a Wetland Reserve Easement in Fulton County, Kentucky. This project consists of restoring wetland hydrology to the proposed site in Logan County. A series of dikes consisting of a total of approximately 3,631 cu. yds. of earthfill will be constructed. Two water level control structures with pipes will be installed. A riprap stream crossing will be installed. The limitations on borrow and waste areas are clearly defined to complement the purpose of the project. All areas outside the pool area that are disturbed during construction will be seeded and mulched. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement will be set aside as a 100% small business set aside. Performance time is estimated to be 26 Calendar Days. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CHECK THE FBO WEBSITE FOR CHANGES. The complete solicitation will be posted on www.fbo.gov on or around July 29, 2015.
