Description

NOTICE OF INTENT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO GAMLET, INC. TO PROVIDE SITE 200 TOP PANEL AND SITE 200 RACK ASSEMBLIES. The Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Media Activity (DMA) intends to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority of FAR FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) ‘Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization)’. DMA intends to issue a sole source contract to Gamlet, Inc., 1750 Toronita St., York PA 17402 to provide 15 Each Site 200 Top Panels Complete and 3 Site 200 Rack-1Bay. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Period of performance is: 30 Days After Receipt of Order. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement via email in Microsoft Word format with a file size less than 5MB to Quevale Mickles, Procurement Technician, via email: quevale.h.mickles.civ@mail.mil, Subject Line: Response to NOI HQ002851400376; phone: (951) 413-2299 no later than 2:00 pm Pacific, 30 July 2015. Please contact Quevale Mickles for instructions regarding file sizes over 5MB. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror’s bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999 – Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
