This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the NAICS code 812111. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is $7.0M. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey and provide their contact information to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field FL is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide Barbershop Concessionaire Services. The potential requirement will consist of the following: DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all management, professional tools of the trade, equipment, delivery and labor necessary to ensure personnel are provided barbershop services at Hurlburt Field, Florida in a manner acceptable to commercial market practices. Contractor must have a Barbers License and be able to give military style haircuts on one barber's station. Contractor must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week Monday-Friday. This is a Non-Appropriated Fund Concessionaire contract. All work shall be performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida, 32544. This request may not directly lead to a Request for Quotation/Proposal. Deadline for submission is 2:00 p.m. CST, 27 July 2015.
