Description
RFQ NMFS AKR-15-0715 for the successful contractor to provide National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS) AK Region with professional services to Train and Supply Remotely Deployable Satellite Tags in Support of Cook Inlet Beluga Whale Mass Stranding Response per the attached RFQ. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation procurement action for the successful contractor to provide National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS) AK Region with professional services to Train and Supply Remotely Deployable Satellite Tags in Support of Cook Inlet Beluga Whale Mass Stranding Response per the attached statement of work in the request for quotes (RFQ) NMFS AKR-15-0715 prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541620 and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The objective of this action is to improve NMFS AKR's internal capacity to monitor Cook Inlet beluga whales involved future live stranding events by using remotely deployable satellite transmitter tags to track the movements and dive behaviors of up to three whales for a period of at least three weeks immediately following the live stranding event in accordance with the statement of work, terms and conditions contained in the attached RFQ NMFS AKR-15-0715. NOAA NMFS Alaska Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
