- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Drawing Specification Statement of Need The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), Office of Dissemination, Silver Spring, Maryland, requires custom fabricated stainless steel brackets to attach existing Scala Antenna assembly to a generic broadcast tower (4 to 8 legs) for the Weather Radio Program transmitter refurbishment and site technology refresh upgrades. The required delivery date is November 30, 2015. This RFQ is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS codes are 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 750 employees. The Federal Supply Code is 6625. Please see the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation in the Attachments as well as the Statement of Need and Drawing Specifications. All questions must be submitted in writing to Stacy.Fullerton@noaa.gov by 10:00 A.M. Eastern on July 22, 2015. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 10:00 A.M. Eastern on July 24, 2015 ; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on meeting technical capability and price.
