Solicitation number: FA8118-15-R-0058. 3. Service/Spare/Repair/OH: Remanufacture. 4. RMC: R1/P. 5. Item: F-16 Leading Edge Flap Power Drive Unit. 6. NSN: 1650-01-340-6328. 7. P/N: 16M002-821. 8. Description: Consists of a hydro-mechanical actuator, two hydraulic motors, and electro-mechanical servo actuator, a hydraulic control valve, a feedback drive unit assembly and attaching hydraulic plumbing. Dimensions: 15" (length) x 10" (width) x 15" (heighth). Material content: aluminum housings and feedback assembly, steel internal parts. Function: When electrically activated it drives the lead edge flap actuators to properly position the flaps. 9. Fixed Quantity: 7 EA. 10. Application: F-16. 11. Destination: TBD. 12. Delivery: 2 EA Per Month beginning 90 Days After Receipt of Order and Reparables. 13. Qualification Requirements DO NOT apply. Approved sources: Moog, Inc. and Lockheed Martin Corporation. 14. Export Control: Not Applicable. 15. UID Note to Contractor: UID Note to Contractor: If unit price of item (not remanufacture cost) exceeds $5,000, then UID requirements will apply. 16. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
