- Amendment 0003 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Generator Rebuild services for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Three Rivers, Texas. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision,, storage containers, vehicles, equipment, radios, furnishings, tools, rental equipment, etc., and other items and services necessary to perform a total engine rebuild (on site) on the # 1 Diesel Engine, Manufacturer, Detroit Diesel 92 Power, Model #16V92, Serial Number 16VF-08461, to meet or exceed Detroit Diesel original specifications. It is anticipated the generator will be accessible five days per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The solicitation will be available on or about April 30, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is July 22, 2015, 2:00 P.M. CST, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 811310 with a size standard of $7.5 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is August 1, 2015.
