- Description
- The U.S. Army, 409th Contracting Support Brigade, Theater Contracting Center, Unit 23156, APO, AE 09054-3156, has a requirement to perform general removal of food and grease waste. The contractor shall provide and maintain sufficient numbers of 120 liter food/grease waste containers at each location to accommodate the quantities generated. Each container shall be equipped with easily operable lids, serviceable wheels, and appropriately labeled in English and German language. The user shall place the containers for the contractor in a reachable location on each scheduled pick up day. All containers with food/grease waste shall be removed and replaced with steam-cleaned containers. Removed containers shall be cleaned at an off-base location in accordance with (IWA) local and German regulation. The contractor shall perform food/grease waste disposal services IAW Entsorgungsfachbetriebeverordnung(EfbV) and Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz(KrWG), and all other applicable German and U.S. Government sanitary and health regulations. The proposed contract award is Firm Fixed Priced contract with a base year and three (3) Option years. Period of performance range: SEP 2015 to AUG 2019. A single award is anticipated for this requirement. Complete details will be given in Request for Quote (RFP) W564KV-15-R-0010 to be released to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) and Federal Business Opportunities website (FedBizOps), on or about 06 June 2015. This acquisition is being procured on a full and open competition basis with no set aside using Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. The anticipated response date is 30 days after release of the solicitation. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive any contract award or payment. The SAM website is: https://www.sam.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: https://www.sam.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency upon posting of the solicitation. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFP.
