Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Service Area-Atlanta, AAQ -510, has a requirement to provide Custodial Services at the following Federal Aviation Administration facilities: Key West Air traffic Control Tower (EYW ATCT), 3491 S. Roosevelt BLVD Key West, FL 33040; Key West Long Range Radar (NQX ARSR) Bldg A-4173 Naval Air Station Key West, FL 33040; Key West RCAG (EYW RCAG) 3301 Government Rd, Key West, FL 33040; Key West Terminal Building Room 208 (EYW RCO) 491 S. Roosevelt BLVD Key West, FL 33040; Key West VORTAC (EYW VOR) Eisenhower Drive, Trumbell Point N. A. S Key West, FL 33040 The FAA contemplates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for an initial base period of 1 (one) year with 4 one-year options. The base year period of performance for the contract is September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016. Base Period: September 1, 2015 “ August 31, 2016(12 months) First Option Year: September 1, 2016 “ August 31, 2017(12 months) Second Option Year: September 1, 2017 “ August 31, 2018 (12 months) Third Option Year: September 1, 2018 “ August 31, 2019 (12 months) Fourth Option Year: September 1, 2019 “ August 31, 2020(12 months) This Requirement is offered to all qualified responsive concerns and offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. A tiered evaluation will be utilized, see section śM ť of the solicitation package. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561720 “ Janitorial Services. The small business size standard is $18 million, average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years. Note: The site visit will be held on Wednesday July 29th at 9 a.m. The site visit location is FAA Key West Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) 3491 S. Roosevelt Blvd; Key West Florida 33040. Cost proposals are due no later than 3:00 p.m. local time (Eastern Time Zone), Tuesday August 11, 2015. Proposals may be submitted electronically to Maxine.cross@faa.gov. Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at delivery at the Eastern Service Center-Atlanta. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at Eastern Service Center-Atlanta. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov) This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
