- The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information on the availability of an existing building that can provide and house the following services: Administration, Primary Care, Mental Health, Audiology and Speech Pathology, Compensation and Pen / Employee Health, Community Based Services, Dental, Environmental Management Services (EMS), Human Resources (HR), Health Administration Services (HAS), OI&T, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, Pharmacy, Police, Procedures/Surgery, Prosthetics, PM&R, Radiology, Social Work Services, Specialty Clinics, Telephone Operator with Switchboard and Telehealth Services which would be eligible to residents in the New Hanover (Wilmington NC) catchment area. The building must be capable of meeting applicable Joint Commission standards. Anticipated patient workload based on Fiscal Year (FY) 14 was 13,609 with 72,140 encounters. Cardiology Utilization is 838 and for Pacemaker/Stress Test 75. Dermatology Utilization for FY 14 was 1,216. Gastroenterology Utilization for FY 14 was 332. GI Endoscopy Utilization for FY 14 was 33. Infections Disease Utilization was 305, Urology Utilization was 117. Dental's Utilization was 1,680 with Polytrauma/Traumatic Brain Injury was at 116. Spinal Cord Injury Utilization was at 40, and Audiology Utilization is at 2,620. This advertisement is seeking information only on the availability, in the New Hanover Catchment Area, of 102,280 rentable square feet (RSF) of space consisting of 90,000 net usable square feet (NSUF). All space under one building would be optimal, but we could consider multiple buildings co-located to run all of the services we require.
