This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-82 May 7, 2015. DOOR OPERATORS BLDG 22 AND BLDG 100 1E-215 Veterans Administration Health Care Center - Bay Pines Florida Scope of Work Provide all labor, materials, essentials and qualified supervision necessary to furnish and install designated door operators in building 22 second and third floors and building 100 room 1E-215. BLDG 22 THIRD FLOOR The contractor is to furnish and install two automatic swinging door operators in rooms 329 and 327 of building 22. Work to include two single units surface mounted, heavy duty swing top arm (pull application), microprocessor controls, with on/off switches. The installation will include 2 pair's stainless steel push plates for activations (radio controlled). BLDG 100 1E-215 ED INSTALLATION The work is to include one 51" heavy duty low energy single door operator, LH push, clear anodized finish, time delay module and an isolation relay. The unit is required to be compatible with our card reader system. In addition, the VA requires a rim mounted panic switch hardware with Von Duprin Type hardware or equivalent with an electronic strike. BLDG 22 SECOND FLOOR The work is to include one 39" heavy duty low energy single door operator, LH push, clear anodized finish, (2) wireless 4.5" square push plate w/handicapped logo and push to open text that includes surface mount box, digital receiver and digital transmitter with 9v battery. All 115VAC electrical work will be provided by the VA, units to include (1) year on parts and labor. The buildings will be occupied during this project and all necessary precautions in accordance with plans and specifications will need to be adhered to. Work can be accomplished during off tours upon approval and proper scheduling. Normal working hours are established as 7:00 AM till 3:30 PM A site walkthrough will be held on 7/16/2015 @ 2 PM SHARP EST. (End of clause) 852.273-76 Electronic Invoice. ELECTRONIC INVOICE SUBMISSION (Interim - OCT 2008) (a) To improve the timeliness of payments and lower overall administrative costs, VA strongly encourages contractors to submit invoices using its electronic invoicing system. At present, electronic submission is voluntary and any nominal registration fees will be the responsibility of the contractor. VA intends to mandate electronic invoice submission, subject to completion of the federal rulemaking process. At present, VA is using a 3rd party agent to contact contractors regarding this service. During the voluntary period, contractors interested in registering for the electronic system should contact the VA's Financial Services Center at http://www.fsc.va.gov/einvoice.asp.
