- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The 99 th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV intends to award a task order to one source, Southwest Gas Corporation, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2913, which allows the Air Force to enter into agreements with the local gas or electric utility companies, to design and implement cost-effective demand and conservation incentive programs (including energy management services, facilities alterations, and the installation and maintenance of energy savings devices and technologies by the utility companies) to address the requirement and circumstances of the installation. NOTE: The solicitation will not be made available on this website. This notice is provided for information purposes only therefore FAR 5.203 does not apply. This opportunity is available only to the utility contractor servicing Nellis Air Force Base under the GSA Areawide Utilities Energy Service Contract (UESC) GS-00P-13-BSD-1002, for the installation, replacement, renovation, repair, operation and maintenance of energy conservations measures and consuming equipment. Services shall include the replacement of Street and Parking Lot lights with LED Lights. Project Description: The proposed procurement is to provide project development and installation efforts to implement energy conservation project to replace existing street light and parking lot lights with LED fixtures throughout Nellis AFB with the exception of those lights in the Department of Energy Compound, Mike O'Callaghan Federal Medical Center parking lots, and Nellis AFB military housing.
