- This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201(b)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award an 8(a) sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 19.8, FAR 19.805-1(a) stating "an acquisition offered to the SBA under the 8(a) Program shall be awarded on the basis of competition limited to eligible 8(a)firms if --(2) The anticipated total value of the contract, including options, will exceed $6.5 million for acquisitions assigned manufacturing North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and $4 million for all other acquisitions." The SBA has accepted our agency's sole source offer on behalf of Burgos Group, LLC. The 27 th Special Operations Contracting Squadron intends to award 8(a) sole source, firm fixed price contract to Burgos Group, LLC to provide Special Operations Assault Zone (DZ/LZ) and Opposing Forces (OPFOR) Augmentation at Cannon AFB and Melrose Air Force Range, NM. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
