- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, has a requirement to obtain the auto body repair of two (2) wheelchair vans located at the VA Medical Center, Marion IL. It is anticipated that a one-time firm-fixed-price purchase order will be awarded. NAME/DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT: Year: 2012 Make: Chevrolet Model #: "G" Series Van License #: VA2252 and VA22814 The Contractor must provide all parts, paint, labor, tools, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to repair the accident damage and return each vehicle to a safe and serviceable condition. The VA will deliver and pick up the vehicles at the Contractor's facility within a 100 mile radius of Marion IL. If the Contractor's facility is located outside the radius the Contractor will be responsible for pick-up and delivery. Vehicle location is 2401 West Main St., Marion IL 62959. The following areas have been identified as needing repair: (1). Vehicle VA22552 i) Paint complete RH upper panes. ii) Replace LH side window, center one and gasket. iii) Repair rear bumper. iv) Repair Center window RH side, Change center window. V) Repair panel LH rear for rail lights. vi) Change rear panel. (2). Vehicle 22814 i) Replace bubble panel above cab. ii) Repair rear RH fender skirt. iii) Repair door RH below furl door. The contractor shall: Repair or replace necessary items required to return the entire vehicle to pre-accident or better condition; Utilize only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or OEM approved parts that meet or exceed OEM specifications; Replacement body panels will be finished inside (undercoated) and out (painted) to match the original finish of the vehicle or better quality; Complete all work within a thirty (30) day period of time; Detailed inside and out to allow for a comprehensive inspection of all work performed. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811211 (Automotive Body, Paint, and Interior Repair and Maintenance) and the standard size is $7.5 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J (Maintenance, repair & rebuilding of equipment). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and must be received not later than July 26, 2015 at 4:00PM CST. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic status. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811211. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
