Description

The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1) quote mark The property or services needed by the executive agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the executive agency quote mark based on the proprietary nature of the RAVE II Display system. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Mechdyne Corporation, 11 East Church Street, Suite 400, Marshalltown, IA 50158-5011, for the design and installation of an upgraded visual display system to replace the outdated components of the custom designed RAVE II visual display. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before 31 July 2015 1159 AM EST by email at jessica.r.camunez.civ@mail.mil.
