Description

The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) has a requirement to provide Armored Car Service at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, and the Captain James A. Lovell, Federal Health Care Center (FHCC). Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, equipment, supplies, transportation, applicable licenses and permits necessary to provide armored car service for the VA facilities listed above. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561613; Small Business Size Standard is $20.5 million. It is anticipated that award will result in a single award firm-fixed price contract. This is a base year contract with four (4) option years for commercial services. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable responses. All responsible offerors may submit an offer for this requirement. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov on or before July 17, 2015. All service disabled, veteran owned small business must be CVE registered. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation may be accessed electronically only via the FedBizOpps website. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FedBizOpps website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposals will be due July 22, 2015 by 11:00 A.M. CST.
