Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 11, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite 2200, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, intends to solicit offers from businesses who are interested in providing eyeglass frames to the VA's VISN 11 Optical Laboratory in Indianapolis, IN. This is a competitive Total Small Business Set Aside, NAICS code: 339115. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The VISN 11 Optical Lab will use the eyeglass frames to make approximately 170,000 pairs of eyeglasses for VA beneficiaries per year. It is planned that VA will award approximately three to five multiple-award IDIQ contracts from this solicitation. The anticipated basis of award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Product samples will be required with the submission of offers. Eyeglass frames shall be delivered to the VISN 11 Optical Lab located at Indianapolis, Indiana, FOB Destination. The solicitation will be made available on or about 8/7/2015.
