Description

Pursuant to AMS 3.2.1.3.9, Pre-Release of Documents, the FAA is seeking industry comments on the attached DRAFT Screening Information Request (SIR) for the anticipated acquisition of security system design, integration, and maintenance services (SSDIM). This pre-solicitation announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a final SIR or a promise to issue a final SIR in the future. This request does not commit the FAA to contract for any supplies or services as a result of the DRAFT SIR being posted whatsoever. Further, the FAA is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement and all costs associated with responding will be solely at the interested party ™s expense. Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be posted on the FAA Contracts Opportunities (FAACO) website located at faaco.faa.gov. The attached draft SIR consists of Sections B through M, including draft Section J attachments. While the FAA is looking for feedback on any aspect of the draft SIR, Sections C, J, L, and M of the draft are where the FAA is seeking specific industry feedback. Comments should be submitted electronically to the following Contracting Officer no later than 2:00 p.m. EST, on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 to: Cynthia Birks, Contracting Officer at cynthia.birks@faa.gov Prior to receiving access to the Draft SIR SOW and associated J Attachments, the responder must attest in written form and return the following items by 2:00 p.m. EST, Thursday, July 23, 2015, to Cynthia Birks at Cynthia.Birks@faa.gov; 1) Be registered in the Systems for Awards Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) with the NAICS code listed above; 2) Submit a completed Business Declaration Form; 3) Agree to the terms and conditions, sign and submit the Document Security Notice (DSN) Upon receipt of the signed DSN, instructions on how to receive the Draft SIR SOW and associated J Attachments will be provided to the responding Company ™s named authorized representative by the Contracting Officer (CO). The Draft SIR SOW and associated J Attachments are only available through a secure release by the CO.
