Description

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a sole source contract to ABB Power Technologies. The NAICS code used for this requirement is 335313 - Switchgear and Switchboard Apparatus Manufacturing. The Bureau of Reclamation at Grand Coulee Power Office (GCPO) has a requirement as follows: Circuit Breaker 8086, Serial No. 41-30058-302, and Circuit Breaker 7886, Serial No. 41-30058-1032, located at the 230kV Switchyard, are in need of overhaul. They were originally installed in 1968. The contractor will furnish rebuild kits for two (2) ABB (ITE) Circuit Breaker Operating Mechanisms and, additionally, provide an ABB (ITE) certified Field Service Engineer to provide technical assistance in the overhaul of the mechanisms. The location of the work to be performed is at the Grand Coulee Power Office in Grand Coulee, Washington. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE; QUOTATIONS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this notice by submitting their capabilities to provide these services in writing, by email to Estyn Kevitt at ekevitt@usbr.gov, 5:00 pm (Pacific Time) Thursday, July 23rd 2015. All responses received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government.
