- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the Repair of the Missile Alert Facility (MAF) Elevator Doors in the Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana Missile Complex. Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary for the removal of the existing coiling overhead doors at the cab and landings of the elevator at each MAF facility and replacement with new collapsible gate type doors, and all associated required safety interlocks, sensors, electromechanical relays, etc. To ensure safe operation, all work shall be conducted by, or supervised by, if applicable, a licensed and/or certified elevator technician. All work shall be done in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 10 Aug 2015. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 10 Sep 2015. There will be a site visit approximately 14 days after the issuance of the solicitation. If attending the site visit, an Entrance Authorization Letter (EAL) MUST be submitted within 7 days of issuance of the solicitation. The appropriate form will be attached to the solicitation. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is open to small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: www.sam.gov. All responsible sources must submit an offer good through 31 December 2015 which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered in SAM. (See internet site sam.gov). The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00
