Description

JOFOC The Small Business Administration intends to award a sole source fixed-price contract to Humanscale, for a standing desk. The Humanscale Float adjustable table can be paired with Humanscale's large range of ergonomic products to create the perfect standing desk or work station. The adjustability provided by these ergonomic accessories will allow a user to use a standing desk or standing table to achieve a level of comfort and productivity that cannot be realized at traditional, fixed-height work surfaces. The period of performance is 60 days from the date of award. The authority for this award is FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source; Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. The Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this notice. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation.
