Description

The National Park Service, Gulf Islands National Seashore, intends to solicit competitive quotations or offers from Small Businesses to furnish all labor, material, tools, supervision and equipment necessary for the removal and disposal of existing lift station pumps and replace with HPGB750 submersible grinder pump 220/230 volt, 2 horse power and also retrofit existing Square-D, FA110DA control panel to accommodate the 220 volt grinder pump equipment at fifteen (15) designated sites in the Fort Pickens Area. The site of work is situated on a coastal barrier island a few miles west of Pensacola Beach in Northwest Florida. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract duration is 90 days from Notice To Proceed. Anticipated period of performance is August 3, 2015 through October 31, 2015. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. During the preproposal site visit, it was discovered that the Scope of Work for this requirement needed revision. In order to give prospective bidders consideration for these technical revisions, the solicitation posting period is being extended by 10 days. The revised Scope of work is attached to this amendment # 0001. Bids should now be returned to Warren Pannell by email at warren_pannell@nps.gov or mailed to 2680 Natchez Trace Parkway, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bids will now be due by NLT July 31, 2015 at 04:30 PM CST.
