- The Department of Veterans Affairs is Seeking Expressions of Interest for 99 Parking Spaces Located Within, 200 yards of its Hospital in Mather, CA Notice: This is not a solicitation for offer, nor a request for proposals. VA will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this advertisement. Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this advertisement. Contracting Office Address: Specialized-Real Property Leasing Team, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21), 5342 Dudley Blvd, Bldg 98, McClellan, CA 95652 Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) currently has a lease on 99 paved, uncovered parking spaces in Mather, California that is expiring. The VA requires 99 leased parking spaces in support of its Hospital located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA. The lease term requirement is for a maximum of five (5) years with a proposed two (3) year firm term and Government termination rights thereafter with 90 day notice. The spaces must be: "Accessible for VA transportation. "Paved "Striped and include the proper amount of handicap spaces per local code or government specifications. "Handicap Spaces must be appropriately and correctly marked "Within 200 yards of 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA "Security must include adequate lighting of all outdoor areas. "Must not be adjacent to a bar or store that distributes for sale, alcoholic beverages or tobacco products.3 Delineated Area: The boundaries for the delineated area form a rectangular in shape box and are described as follows: "North - Peter A McCuen Blvd "South - Buffington Street "East - Buffington Street "West - Schirra Avenue The Government is considering alternative space if economically and physically advantageous. In making the determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, proximity to other related Government Health Care Services, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating. "Available rentable rate must be, fully serviced. "Date of space availability "Property ownership information "List of services provided. "FEMA map evidencing the property lies outside the 100-year floodplain. "A narrative and map describing proximity of the building to the nearest bus stop and other major transportation routes. "Any information related to title issues, easements and restrictions on the use of the building. The Government's decision regarding whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement.
