- Draft Performance-based Work Statement THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUATATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITAION. This is to identify sources that can perform Reefer Trucking Services in Japan. Firms who are interested should respond electronically to Ms Sonomi Yoshihashi via email at sonomi.yoshihashi.jp@us.af.mil. by 30 Sep 15 including the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) a point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email; (3) cage code and DUNS number (if available). DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish services for transporting the Government's reefer freight by the Contractor's 2 to 10 ton loading capacity reefer trucks between US facilities as set forth in the contract, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and applicable Government of Japan laws and trade practices. ANTICIPATED PERFORMANCE DATE: 1 Jul 2016 or 30 days After Date of Award thru 30 Jun 2017 (subject to change), with Four (4) one-year Options NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not considered a commitment by the government. The government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this sources sought. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). It is the responsibility of the potential offers to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Any information provided to the government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the government.
