- The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking competent and qualified contractors to provide labor, equipment, tools, supplies and material to replace roof on the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 28, 2015 @ 10:00 a.m. Due to high security at the airport, all contractors must report to the Security Operation Center (SOC) @ 10:00 a.m. to sign-in and obtain appropriate ID and parking permit for their vehicle. Security Operations Center (SOC) Atlantic City International Airport/Security Operations Center Amelia Earhart Blvd. Egg Harbor Township/Atlantic City NJ 08234 Directions: Once on Amelia Earhart Blvd., just before Security Gate to FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, bear right into the Security Operations Center Parking Lot. Please have photo ID or passport available. Contractors will be escorted to FAA Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) for site inspection scheduled for @ 11:00 a.m. Pre-bid Site Visit Limitations: A maximum of one (1) personnel and one (1) vehicle contractor is permitted. Photography is permitted. Attendance is mandatory because of the nature of the work. Security issues preclude the need for the FAA to be informed prior to contractor(s) arrival for escorting requirements. Contractors shall submit list of attendees via e-mail to Maria.Rosu@faa.gov no later than Noon - July 24, 2015 Attendees must present State issued Photo I.D. (driver ™s license) or passport Only those offerors identified above will be permitted at the pre-proposal site-visit walk-thru conference. Offers will be accepted from only those contractors that have attended the site visit. Pre-bid Site Visit Limitations: A maximum of one (1) personnel and one (1) vehicle contractor is permitted. Prospective prime contractor must provide at least three (3) Roof Installation Contracts completed during the past five (5) years specifically similar in size, complexity and scope over $300,000 NAICS Code-238160 Performance time - 60 Calendar Days Payment Bond -Required Performand Bond-Required Insurance requirements -$2,000,000 Estimated Range-$250,000- $500,000 The Government will award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is determined to be responsible and whose proposal conforms to all requirements of the SIR.
