- Description
- NOI-ACT-SACT-15-12 In support of the Allied Command Transformation's (ACT) Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Programme, the C-IED section is responsible for developing all ACT C-IED requirements in support of the C-IED deliverable and C-IED Plan. Contractor personnel shall: support the planning, execution and output of C-IED Programme, assist in establishing the processes and standards necessary to underpin a C-IED effort and integration with other relevant NATO programmes, and be capable of producing actionable solutions to near, medium and long-term capability shortfalls. On site Contractor personnel shall support various C-IED functional areas including C-IED Technical and Operational Policy, Concept, Doctrine Development and Experimentation Support. These services shall assist with assembly of future year's programmes and the C-IED Programme's normal daily operations and experimentation events in support of its vision, mission, guiding principles, core competencies, and annual training plans. The positions shown in the following list reflect ACT's proposed placement of the contractors supporting NATO Staff Officers working within the C-IED section. •C-IED Operational Advisor for C-IED policy, concept, doctrine development and experimentation support (Focusing on Attacking the Network, Operations and Support, Network Identification and Engagement) •C-IED Technical Advisor for C-IED policy, concept, doctrine development and experimentation support (Focusing on Defeating the Device)
