Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and availability of small business (SB) vendors to participate in a competitive acquisition of information technology products in support of Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), Monterey, California. A determination by the Government on the method of competition for this requirement has not been established. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. The Government will not award any contract based on the information received from this Sources Sought Notice. NAVSUP FLCSD is interested only in identifying interested and capable small businesses, and to stimulate industry awareness and gain feedback to improve the acquisition environment/process. FLCSD is seeking potential sources that are capable of providing OEM (Brocade) products listed in attachment 1. Anticipated procurement is for All or None. The NAVY will procure from single source providing all required items based on competitive environment (at least two qualified sources). Anticipated procurement is Sole Source/Brand Name. Vendors should provide availability for products made by the OEM only. Vendor should be OEM authorized distributor for the purpose of product warranty to apply/to be valid. The NAVY anticipates 45% Educational Discount for each item as NPS is an educational institution. Vendor should indicate 45% Educational Discount in their product availability disclosure. The NAVY will entertain procurement through GSA contracts provided all items are GSA schedule items. Therefore, interested vendors should indicate YES/NO to identify GSA schedule items. Delivery: 30 days After Contract Award (ACA) Location: Monterey, California FLCSD reserves the right to determine if a SB set-aside is appropriate as well as set-aside to one of the various social-economic programs (Women Owned, or HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, or 8(a) program) based on the responses to this notice and other pertinent information gathered. In order for the Government to make a determination, it is emphasized that all concerns provide sufficient written information to indicate their capacity and capability to successfully meet the requirement. If you are an interested, please provide the following information: 1) small business size category; 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) GSA Contract number, if applicable; 4) demonstrate your companys ability and capacity to provide required items; and 5) include any past performance information on Government contracts of similar nature, size, scope and complexity. All interested parties should provide a Statement of Capability (no more than 10 pages). Electronic responses (i.e. email) are preferred and telephonic request for information will not be honored. No request for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. Responses are due no later than 4:30 PM San Diego, California time on 27 July 2015 to Mr. Norman Florida, Contract Specialist, via email to norman.florida@navy.mil.
