- AIR CENTER BACKUP GENERATOR CONSTRUCTION Amendment 1 - Attach site visit notes, questions and answers and additional wage determination. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to include providing material and labor for the installation of an 85kw emergency generator and associated components needed to provide backup power for the Interagency Fire Center's Air Tanker Base operations. This material and labor includes but is not limited to; concrete work, installing buried electrical and natural gas lines, installing a generator, switchboards and transfer switches, programming of generator set, and providing training on generator set. The work is located at the BLM Cedar City Air Tanker Base at 1635 N Airport Road, Cedar City, Iron County, Utah 84721. A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11:00 am MT. Parallel park on the street near the entrance gate at 1635 N Airport Road, Cedar City, UT 84721. Attendees will then walk a short distance through the gate to the building. Questions and requests for information must be received NO LATER THAN Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 5:00 pm MT. Questions shall be in the form of email with the subject line titled: L15PS00608 - Air Center Backup Generator; and shall be sent to lgunn@blm.gov and bkunk@blm.gov. All questions and answers will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation. This project is 100% set aside for Small Business vendors under the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code 238990, with a size standard of $15.0 Million. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 120 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall monitor the solicitation at www.fedconnect.net.
