- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81K00-15-T-M123 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-82 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20150626. The Southern Regional Contracting Office intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to the quoter that is determined technically acceptable and offer a fair and reasonable price. Services required are animal rendering services in support of the Army Department of Veterinary Science. BPA(s) will be established under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. BPA issued as a result of this solicitation will have a single call limit of $1K, with a maximum overall BPA limit of $115,000. Offerors are reminded that, in the event they receive a BPA, calls/orders are not guaranteed. Funds are not obligated on the BPA, but only on any issue calls/orders. The anticipated base period performance is approximately 1 August 2015 through 31 July 2020, or five (5) years from the date of award, whichever is later. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 311119 Other Animal Food Manufacturing. The size standard for NAICS 311119 is 500 Employees. This procurement is being conducted through full and open competition. Quote is due by 30 July 2015, at 12:00 PM, Central Standard Time. NOTE 2: A draft Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is included as Attachment 1. All pertinent clauses are included in this draft BPA, and are not listed here. They are applicable to any award that may result from this solicitation. Only provisions are included in this document. NOTE 3: A price list template is included as Attachment 2. Offerors may submit their own format, but should include at a minimum the heading, category, and list price.
