- CDRLs statement of work The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for the facilities, fabrication services and material required to manufacture, test and inspect lip seals to be installed onto the capsule of the Composite Capsule Launching System (CCLS) All-Up-Rounds (AURs) variants. NUWC Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the following items in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and CDRLs: CLIN 0001 Lip Seal Assembly Qty 1,004 P/N JCM-1664-001 in accordance with drawing JCM-1664 Rev "C" CLIN 0002 Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) 1 Lot Required delivery is 90 days after the date of award. NUWC Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Sandem Industries of Butler, NJ. The lip seal is a source-controlled part, Parker-Hannifin is its sole manufacturer and Sandem Industries is the authorized distributor for the Parker-Hannifin lip seal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award of this contract will be no later than 30 September 2015 with a contract completion date of 30 December 2015. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport: Newport, RI. NAICS code is 326291 ; size standard is 500. Further details will be released upon issue of RFP # N66604-15-R-2717 on 11 August 2015.
