Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. Sources sought for: Brand Name or Equal to: Renishaw RLE20-DX-XP = Dual Axis RLU20 with Column Ref RLDS = Qty 1 We need a laser interferometer system to provide precise position control and monitoring (better than 1 nm reliability) of the sample stage with respect to the X-ray optics (zone plate) in the STXM vacuum chamber. Due to geometric constraints both inside and outside the chamber we require: -Fibre optic laser outputs (alignment of direct beam laser outputs is not possible as movement of the chamber will require re-steering of the beam) - Highly stable laser for precise motion control - Differential interferometer heads to be mounted outside the chamber with integrated beam steerers so that pitch and yaw can be adjusted easily to align beam from outside the chamber. - Separation between reference beam and measurement beam 14 mm - Double pass beams with separation between outgoing and incoming beam 7 mm - Beam diameter 3 mm
