- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract to perform pipeline maintenance dredging for various sections of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) from Freeport to Matagorda Bay including an option for the Channel to Palacios. There will be no levee work for this project. Schedule No. 1 requires maintenance dredging of GIWW, Freeport Harbor to Brazos River Floodgates; intersection of Caney Creek and GIWW; Colorado River Crossing; Colorado River West Lock to East Matagorda Bay; East Matagorda Bay to Matagorda Natural Bay Bottom Route. Total estimated quantity is approximately 2,750,000 cubic yards of material. Placement areas are upland confined, semi confined, and open water/unconfined. Option No. 1 requires maintenance dredging of Channel to Palacios. Total estimated quantity is approximately 615,000 cubic yards of material. Placement areas are open water/unconfined. Completion time for Schedule No. 1 is approximately 200 calendar days and 45 calendar days for Option No. 1 if exercised. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Solicitation is quote mark 100% Small Business Set-Aside quote mark. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 13 Aug 2015. Response date is 14 Sep 2015 @ 2:00 PM. ATTENTION TO OFFEROR(s)/CONTRACTOR(s): On July 14, 2014, Small Business Administration (SBA) increased the monetary-based industry size standards to account for inflation. You must update your Representations (Reps) and Certifications (Certs) for the impacted North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes identified with an exclamation point quote mark ! quote mark next to the quote mark Small Business quote mark value in the System for Award Management (SAM).
