- Description
- JOFOC for CLP Maintenance in St. Louis The United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development (hereby referred to as "USDA, RD" or "Agency") provides support and services that improve the quality of life in rural communities. As a function of the overall mission to rural communities, the Agency provides agricultural credit and rural development assistance, and initiates activities to develop and enhance Agency information management. The continued shift from internal Agency automated systems used by USDA employees to a combination of internal, intranet and internet systems serving our varied customers mandates improved and responsive automation support. To meet this mandated support, USDA RD has launched the Comprehensive Loan Program (CLP) initiative to modernize and streamline the lines of business used to deliver and manage housing, business, and utilities loan, grant and guaranteed programs. CLP addresses several automated lines of business developed to support our wide variety of program missions - Commercial Loan Servicing (CLSS), Guaranteed Loan (GLS), Multi-Family Housing Information (MFIS), Rural Utilities Services (RUS) Legacy and Miscellaneous Applications, Shares Systems and Services, E-Government applications Administrative Systems Community Program Application Processing (CPAP) and the Automated Multi-Family Housing System (AMAS) that require annual maintenance to meet the needs of our users. Even as we move forward to optimize the loan and grant architecture for more rapid rollout of new or changed programs under CLP, we must continue to maintain the current systems.
