- RFI Request for Information USAF, Space & C3I, Range Threat - AN/MST-T1(V) Mini Multiple Threat Emitter System (MiniMUTES) RF Amplifier NSN: 5996-01-465-5121, 5996-01-465-5122 P/N: A26365, A26160 Waveguide Assembly NSN: 5985-01-477-9573, 5985-01-480-6043 P/N: A26057-000, A26984-000 The Government is performing market research on potential sources of manufacture, supply, or repair for the following items: RF Amplifier NSN: 5996-01-465-5121 & 5996-01-465-5122 P/N: A26365 & A26160 and Waveguide Assembly NSN: 5985-01-477-9573& 5985-01-480-6043 P/N: A26057-000& A26984-000. NAICS code 334. This notification is for market research purposes to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience and knowledge required to successfully complete this effort for Hill Air Force Base, Utah and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be accomplished. This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. To be considered as a potential manufacturer/supplier/repair source for this requirement, a Contractor will be required to submit technical data, in response to a solicitation, verifying their capabilities to produce/supply/repair this item. All costs incurred by the Contractor in responding to this request for information will be covered by the Contractor. The Government does not intend to pay for any cost incurred by the Contractor in providing this information. The Contractor will be required to verify to the Government that the items manufactured/supplied/repaired are within Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Responding to this request in no manner guarantees a contract will be awarded to the respondent for the manufacture/supply/repair of this item. Respondents to this request will be retained in a file and subsequently provided a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) when issued. Responding to this request in no manner guarantees a contract will be awarded to the respondent for the manufacture/supply of this item. All information received in response to this announcement that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.202(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this announcement. Interested parties may request a source qualification statement from Logan Kashanipour. Engineering data in support of this synopsis can be obtained by contacting Alan Stevens 415 SCMS/GUMBB. The request can be emailed to john.stevens.4@us.af.mil. This request for data should contain the synopsis number, a reference to "Sources Sought", a copy of the contractor's DD Form 2345 and a list of the drawings that are needed (the CAGE and/or NSN are also helpful).
