Description
Beckley VAMC is dedicated to the honorable Veterans of the Greenbrier Valley and is committed to provide convenient access to Primary Care and Mental Health Services via a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The Department of Veterans Affairs desires lease space up to 5,000 usable square feet of outpatient space. The space must be handicap accessible in according with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) and ready for occupancy immediately. On-site parking for a minimum of 40 vehicles is required including 4 designated handicapped parking spaces specifically for VA usage. The VA requires a full service lease for a five (5) year firm term with a five (5) year option period for a total of ten (10) years. All proposed space must be within the following delineated area: Properties must be located within one half mile of Rt. 219 between the Greenbrier Valley Airport moving south through Lewisburg and through the city of Ronceverte to the Greenbrier River; properties must be located within one half mile of Rt. 60 from the center of Lewisburg going East to Rt. 92 in White Sulphur Springs and West to Houfnaggle Rd.; properties must be located within one half mile of Davis Stuart Rd. between Greenbrier Valley Hospital to Old Powell Rd. Interested offerors must contact Contract Specialist Daniel Rakes via e-mail at Daniel.Rakes@va.gov or by mail to: Daniel Rakes, Salisbury VAMC, 1601 Brenner Ave. Bldg. 21B, Salisbury, NC 28144. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available square footage, and photographs. Also a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact is required by 4:30 pm EST on August 3, 2015. The Federal Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. PLEASE NOTE: A market survey is currently being conducted of the properties that where submitted previously. Any new interested parties should submit an official response to Daniel Rakes by the date and time listed above, no other properties will be accepted after this date. This will conclude the market research and a solicitation will be sent to those properties that meet the Department of Veteran Affairs requirements.
