- Description
- The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) intends to negotiate solely with Truven Health Analytics, Inc. for providing access to historical health insurance claims data under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106(b) soliciting from a single source. Truven Health Analytics, Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide historical health insurance claims data, which is required for BLS to match information on workers compensation, leave, short-term and long-term disability to injuries and illnesses. BLS intends to establish a one-year firm fixed-price purchase order for Truven Health Analytics, Inc. proprietary database license with a period of performance consisting of one year. BLS has not identified a viable alternative to the selected contractor for providing the necessary data at the best value. Written responses to this Notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to fulfill this requirement. Submissions shall not exceed 5MB. This is not a request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not notify respondents of the results of the information received. All submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to Kristin Dell at dell.kristin@bls.gov no later than 11:00 am, August 12, 2015. Telephone calls regarding this matter will neither be accepted nor returned.
