- FAR 52.212-3 Attachment A: 75D-07.0-04_EHS_Contractor_Requirements Site Visit Statement of Work Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. banknote currency and other U.S. security products. Banknote currency manufacturing occurs at BEP's Office of Currency Manufacturing located in Washington, DC (DCF) and Office of Currency Manufacturing located in Fort Worth, TX (WCF). BEP's primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). BEP DCF, Office of Engraving, Division of Plate Manufacturing has a need to purchase a new Graphite Vertical Machining Center Machine for use in the production of surface pieces. These surface pieces are used on the Currency Overprinting and Processing Equipment (COPE) and Large Examining and Printing Equipment (LEPE) machines in the production of United States Currency.
