- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), Los Angeles, CA, has a requirement to provide Bridge Housing to assist in providing community-supportive services for eligible Veterans. The resulting contract will be effective for one (1) base year and four (4) One-year option periods. The goal of this contract is to provide a secure, appropriately monitored, temporary placement for thirty-five (35) Veterans needing Bridge Housing with after-hours and weekend coverage for the Welcome Center located on the ground floor of GLA West Los Angeles (WLA) Campus Bldg. 257. The program location at VAGLAHS is crucial to ensure that Veterans are able to attend appointments scheduled in various VAGLAHS clinics and return to Bridge Housing in Bldg. 257 with minimal barriers A solicitation shall be issued on or about Aug 5, 2015 All interested parties must respond to that solicitation. A response to this notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Telephonic responses will not be entertained.
