Description

The Army Contracting Command-Redstone proposes to issue solicitation W58RGZ-15-R-0803. This requirement is for the procurement of HGU-56/P Rotary Wing Helmet (RWH). The contractor shall manufacture, conduct lot acceptance testing, and deliver the RWH, spare parts, and modification kits. Procurement Description: -750 each, HGU-56/P Rotary Wing Helmets (RWH), PART NUMBERS: A14093-1 through A14093-6 (Sizes XS - XL); -200 each Assembly, Articulated, Nape, PART NUMBERS: A14117-1 through A14117-6 (SIZES XS - XL); - 80 each Retention Assembly, PART NUMBER A14139-1; -200 each Liner, ACS, HGU-56/P PART NUMBERS: A14106-1 through A14106-6 (SIZES XS - XL); - 200 each Liner Assy, PART NUMBERS: A14062-1 through A14062-6 (SIZES XS - XL); -160 each, Helmet Shell Subassy PART NUMBERS: A14067-1 through A14067-4 (SIZES S - XL) -500 each HGU-56/P RWH Maxillofacial Shield PART NUMBER: A14138-1 -750 each HGU-56/P Mod Kits PART NUMBERS: A14250-1 through A14250-6 (SIZES XS - XL). There is an option for 200 each modification kits to be exercised within 12 months after contract award. There are no known NSNS. This procurement is not for foreign military sales nor are the items critical safety items. This is a sole-source requirement to Gentex Corporation, 324 Main Street, Simpson, PA 18407, (CAGE Code 97427), under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304 (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
