- It is the intention of the Bureau of Reclamation to exercise option year 3 of contract R12PC40009 for administration costs for services that were awarded as a base contract plus four option years on September 21, 2012. The purpose of this special notice is to publicize the option years that were omitted in the original synopsis. The contract is for a base year plus four option years for a total contract amount of $250,000.00. The original synopsis was posted September 3, 2012 and read as follows: The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate a sole-source award with The Regents of the University of Colorado for administration costs for space, utilities, copying, mailing, and dedicated information storage and backup system, and services used by 4 Reclamation personnel (1 Upper Colorado region and 3 Lower Colorado region), located at the Center for Advanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems (CADSWES) at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO (CU). These funds do not pay a portion of the 4 employee's salaries but support the administrative costs to support CADSWES in housing the Reclamation employees. Recent Reclamation research to incorporate climate change and variability in our long range planning studies has required storage of large datasets (several terabytes). Any firm that believes it could fulfill the government need described herein must submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer within 4 days of this announcement for consideration. However, the Contracting Officer reserves the right to make the final decision on source selection in the best interest of the government.
