- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Knox (MICC Center-Knox) intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) to procure vehicle transportation within the national capital region, with competition being sought from responsible small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 485320. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The RFQ will be posted to the ASFI web portal on or about 31 July 2015. This date is subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on the ASFI Web portal. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled. The solicitation and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A firm-fixed price order will be awarded. This action is 100% set-aside for small business; all responsible and responsive small businesses may submit an offer for consideration. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) prior to the closing date listed in the solicitation. Prior to registering in SAM, contractors must obtain a DUN and Bradstreet number at 1-800-333-0505. All questions must be submitted in writing by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 10 August 2015 to the Contract Specialist and may be e-mailed to Raymond Gaddie at raymond.s.gaddie.civ@mail.mil or mailed Attn: Raymond Gaddie.
