CONTINUATION PAGE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Install Paging System VA248-15-Q-1284 1.Could the VA provide drawings of the facility? Government's response: Yes 2.Can the legacy equipment be replaced instead of making the new system compatible with them? Government's response: No 3.Can the proposed contractor use a 24v system? Government's response: No, it is SOW written for a 70V system. Section II (h) 4.How many speakers are in each building? Government's response: 185 in building 503 5.Please clarify if building 504 is going to be part of the new system? Government's response: Building 504 must pass a functional test of the new system. 6.Will the new system be wall mounted or rack mounted? Government's response: Wall mounted because there is a lack of floor space. 7.Are all speakers wired correctly and in working order? Government's response: The speakers are in working order. But tapped for 25V not 70V. 8.Will the intercom, "as built" plans be made available or any electrical plans of the facility? Government's response: Prints will not be available. 9.Will the RFQ due date be extended? Government's response: Yes, the RFQ offer due date will be extended. 10. Is this a follow-on requirement? If so, could you please provide the incumbent contract number for this opportunity? Government's response: No, this is not a follow-on requirement.
